As I am working through the Melrose Place DVDs (currently on season 5), it is reaffirmed that Sydney is one of the greatest television characters ever— especially in the context of drama/soap operas. She is funny, conniving, dirty, and just exciting. Laura Leighton is incredible!

Tonight is the night
After nine months of being able to prepare myself, I am still not ready for the series finale of Desperate Housewives. My constant Sunday night ritual for the last eight years will be no more. Why God, why?!
